Meet the Artist
I am Jamie Welebob, thatre lover, mother, and artist. I have been growing flowers and collecting plants all my life.
All of the flowers on this site are taken from my own garden of curiosities. Many of these plants are oddities I have stumbled across, discovered at various flower shows, or raised from seeds but all of these flowers are things I love.
Flowers have always had a very important place in my life and preserving them gives me a way to share that with others.
I wanted to preserve flowers in a way that fully captured their organic shape and feel.
That meant coming up with a preservation method that didn’t involve burying the blossoms inside of resin or drying them to withered husks.
Experimentation with various preservation techniques yielded preserved flowers that slowly drained of color over time.
I instantly fell in love with my new creation, the Ghost Violets
Creating my Ghost violets gave me focus and clarity in the wake of my abusive divorce.
Learning to preserve the violets and expand it out onto all the flowers of my garden was my pillar during that turbulent time.
Now, I share my Ghost Violets with everyone while raising my son and being a substitute teacher.
